P. Morgan's Pricing Direct LLC has been delivering independent, reliable valuations and analytics services across fixed income and derivatives worldwide for over 20 years. Pricing Direct provides valuations to 90% of the top 50 mutual funds and 80% of the top 20 banks by AUM. Whilst there is some presence in EMEA and Asia today, we have started to accelerate our plans to expand our footprint in existing and new jurisdictions by investing in new hires within our sales and evaluator product teams.
Job responsibilities

  • Identify pricing decision makers (PMs, CIOs, Risk, Fund Admins) at prospect clients in targeted markets in Asia
  • Minimum cumulative closed won revenue >USD $750k on an annual recurring basis
  • Required to generate pipeline to sufficiently meet and/or exceed given targets
  • Willingness to travel in the Asia region; travel as required to meet performance metrics and quota
  • Maintain accurate records regarding account visits, client conversations, etc.
  • Support and educate the local Institutional Sales teams on new offerings to the Pricing Direct and Index suite of products
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience and expertise in the buyside industry and 3rd party vendors is a must; knowledge of Intellectual property licensing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines
  • Established sales relationships and knowledge in data businesses (preferably evaluated pricing)
  • Strong established ability to cultivate relationships with Clients with strong influencing and interpersonal skills; strong negotiating skills and established ability to close a deal
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Proficiency in Japanese is preferred to liaise with Japanese speaking clients
  • Requires infrequent assistance on day to day work; high adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
