    Description

    MAIN PURPOSE

    Reporting directly to the Assistant Brand & Marketing Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in localizing marketing strategies and developing insight-driven 360 marketing activities that are meaningful for the channel while ensuring brand consistency across Travel Retail markets in APAC region. You will be tagged to the Prestige cluster, handling 2 brands: IPSA & THE GINZA.

    You will be exposed to brand management fundamentals and the Travel Retail beauty industry with premium skincare brands. Other learning opportunities include a deeper understanding of the business value chain, the quick-evolving Chinese consumer digital & social landscape, and stakeholder management skills from working with people from various functions and countries.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Brand & Marketing

    • Monitor and navigate market trends & competitor activities to identify business and innovation opportunities, as well as local market price monitoring.
    • Support the seasonal launch updates including launch books creation, forecasting, retailer presentations, outpost support, planning of market strategy, data management & research analysis, adaptation & localization of creative content and marketing collateral.
    • Support in brainstorming of campaigns inclusive of trade activations such as on-counter animations and production of GWP.
    • Assist in copy writing and asset/information translation between English & Chinese
    • Facilitate asset requests from multiple stakeholders.
    • Maintain and enhance marketing file management (distribution, assortment, pricing, and translations masters).
    • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks, facilitate the communication between teams in Singapore and overseas office.

    Digital

    • Support the requests from retailers, work with agencies to adapt & localize asset for retailer's social media.
    • Assist in the development & management of e-Commerce content / PDP / shop-in-shop product information.
    • Conduct research to derive best practices on digital and social media platforms.
    • Monitor and research market trends & competitor activities on Chinese social media such as Weibo, Xiao Hong Shu, WeChat to identify opportunities.

    Reporting

    • Support bi-weekly competitor reports for internal communication as well as monthly sales report submission.
    • Assist in monthly sales reports data collection.
    • Assist in internal cross-function communication reports.

    SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

    • Undergraduate or Postgraduate majoring in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
    • Effective communication skills (verbal & written).
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
    • Self-starter.
    • Positive, enthusiastic and collaborative can-do mentality.
    • Encompasses a collaborative spirit of working.
    • Comfortable with numbers and analysis of data.
    • Meticulous and attention to detail.
    • Ability to multi-task effectively, managing multiple projects while being cognizant of deadlines and priorities.
    • Strong command of the Chinese language is a bonus.
