This role in the Operations Data Analytics and Systems team is pivotal for data analytics, insights and reporting for the Global Operations function in ASM - encompassing Forecasting, Production Planning, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering and Global Quality.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Microsoft Power BI Reports / Dashboards
  • Deliver data analysis, products, insights, and recommendations for improvement in operational/business outcomes.
  • Perform Data Preparation for calculating weekly/monthly KPI and publish results
  • Analyze trends/root cause/impacts of Process KPI values and provide recommendations to existing SAP ERP/business processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders within the Global Operations community for delivering data products
  • Collaborate with technology IT teams
  • Business Intelligence, SAP Applications and Data Engineering teams for Gap Analysis, Power BI Dataflow creations.
  • Develop proof of concepts for data science projects for outcome improvements/automations
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing for change requests
  • Participate in projects for Azure Data Lake.

Requirements:


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics / Data Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering / Computing / Supply Chain or Operations Management
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant data analytics experience
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and logical reasoning mindset
  • Deep understanding of data analytics techniques to derive insights from the data.
  • Experience in Data Transformations in data analysis and visualization tools (ETL processes)
  • Strong understanding of Data Visualization principles
  • Experience in Data Analysis in High Tech Manufacturing Preferred
  • Basic understanding of Supply Chain/ERP data and processes.
  • Experience in SAP R/3, SAP Ariba, S/4 HANA, or any leading ERP tool
  • Willingness to learn complex Global Operations data/process flows.
  • Strong in MS Excel; PowerPoint Presentations; Microsoft Platform tools.
  • Strong Communication skills verbal and written to contribute in business discussions, communicate insights, and influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to deliver under tight timelines, very comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, and complexity

Key Skills:


  • Data Analysis and Visualization (Microsoft Power BI preferred)
  • Data Analytics Concepts, Technologies and Solutioning (ETL)
  • MS Excel, Any Programming language (R/Python/SQL)
  • Supply Chain / Manufacturing / Quality / Operations / Engineering functional process knowledge
  • SAP R/3 (or any ERP) technofunctional experience
  • Data Analytics / Technology certification is a plus
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and logical reasoning skills
