    Description
    [What the role is]
    The Manpower & Infrastructure Planning Division (MIPD) oversees the review and coordination of initiatives to advance capabilities of the Training and Adult Education (TAE) sector in physical infrastructure, systems, manpower and skills. You will be part of a team responsible to develop and implement manpower and skills plans to support and enhance the operational efficiency and training effectiveness of the TAE sector.

    [What you will be working on]

    You are expected to have the mental readiness to push boundaries and test new grounds in the areas of TAE sector manpower and skills. The roles will include but not limited to the following:

  • Conduct landscape study planning and coordination of policies and initiatives across SSG divisions to develop TAE manpower capacity and capability
  • Support the curation and sharing of TAE data and insights to facilitate the review and development of TAE policies and programme
  • Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the project or programme development and implementation to meet TAE sector manpower and skills needs
  • · Provide account management services to strategic training partners

  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of the initiatives and programmes, and propose recommendations for improvement
  • Undertake any other assignments to support the division's work
  • [What we are looking for]

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Up to 7 years of relevant work experience in programme management
  • Familiar with the local TAE landscape
  • Possess conceptual and analytical skills, and strategic foresight
  • Proficient in oral and written communication, preferably business writing
  • Meticulous and good with financials
  • Performance and outcome driven with a business mindset
  • Independent self-starter who likes tackling challenging projects and enjoys working in a team
  • Strong in people and information management
  • Applicants without the required qualification but possess the relevant work experience and skillset are welcome to apply

    Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure
