DepartmentBusiness Development and Partnerships- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationSingaporeThe Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.


  • Build close strategic partnerships with brands on the development and delivery of enhanced Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection measures
  • Lead the execution of the Brand Protection team's regional OnlinetoOffline (O2O) and Test Purchase programs to aid rights holders' offline enforcement actions
  • Work with law enforcement, regulators, and other external stakeholders to develop and execute meaningful initiatives to safeguard brand rights
  • Promote Shopee's brand protection initiatives through conferences and workshops, drive seller education and consumer awareness programs
  • Analyse brand protection metrics to generate actionable insights, update relevant trackers and prepare for brand reviews
  • Work crossfunctionally with operations, legal, regulatory, and business teams to collect and understand business needs and requirements
  • Analyse trends, propose opportunities for systems improvement, and develop internal workflows and escalations protocols
  • Perform problem breakdowns, identify root causes, and present opportunities to improve brand protection processes and policies

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Intellectual Property or Brand Protection
  • Strong business acumen, criticalthinking, and ability to analyse data to drive actionable insights and recommendations
  • Excellent organisational, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Selfstarter with the ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably on multiple projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation, reporting, and being consultative
  • Passion for the eCommerce industry
