This role sits within the second line of defense, focusing on technology risk oversight and assurance for the firm's regional entities.

    Job Description

    As part of the global Technology Risk Management (TRM) community, you will provide oversight, guidance, and assurance on technology and information risks impacting business objectives.

    • Provide independent risk oversight on information and technology risks within the business unit.
    • Conduct risk analysis and make recommendations to management on mitigation actions.
    • Oversee the effectiveness of technology controls, tools, and risk mitigation processes.
    • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, group standards, and data protection policies.
    • Support responses and coordination during regulatory reviews or audits.
    • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure alignment in managing technology risks.
    • Develop and implement the local TRM framework in line with group and regional standards.
    • Define and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and maintain the risk register.
    • Partner with the Operational Risk team to ensure consistent treatment and reporting of risks.
    • Promote a strong risk-aware culture and deliver risk training or awareness initiatives.
    • Support periodic reporting to senior management and risk committees.
    • Lead or contribute to board and executive reporting on technology risk matters.
    • Engage with stakeholders including IT leaders, business heads, and compliance officers.
    • Participate in group-wide initiatives to improve risk management processes and systems.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
    • 5-8 years' experience in Technology Risk, IT Audit, or Technology Governance roles.
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and operational risk.
    • Proven ability to identify, assess, and report technology and information security risks.
    • Experience implementing or maintaining risk frameworks and policies (e.g., NIST, ISO
    • Familiarity with IT operations, SDLC, change management, and third-party risk processes.
    • Hands-on exposure to at least three domains such as Cybersecurity, IAM, Cloud, DevOps, or ITIL.
    • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, ITIL, or PMP are preferred.
    • Experience in financial services or consulting (banking, insurance, or asset management) is highly desirable.
    • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, influence senior stakeholders, and drive a culture of risk awareness.
