    About Trust & Safety

    Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.

    Some content viewed may violate our community guidelines which include but are not limited to bullying; hate speech; child abuse; sexual assault; torture; bestiality; self-harm; suicide; murder.

    What will I be doing?

    You'll manage all the language support projects and priorities, negotiating deadlines, building and maintaining ongoing relationships with customers and partners;

    You'll lead a team of language support to plan and manage all the projects from problem definition to final execution and localization; optimize the process, ensure consistent quality and procures to ensure timely and effective delivery;

    You'll engage in business strategy formulation, provide on-site/online simultaneous/consecutive interpretation support, achieve and facilitate efficient and effective cross-department and cross-country communication and collaboration;

    You'll be responsible for translating key documents of the team, e.g., strategy/ management/ product/ process/ tech-related files, as requested promptly, aligning understanding with different parties, and bridging the gap between different teams;

    You'll offer cross-cultural insights and assist the team in striving towards internationalization regarding working atmosphere and learning environment while coaching and helping the team to grow

    You'll build up translation memories/glossaries/knowledge banks to better empower other teams within T&S

    You'll contribute to language related strategic initiatives as a leader of the Enablement team whether as an owner or a key contributor, sharing educated perspectives and building end products.

    Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications

    You have at least 5 years' experience of providing interpretation services ideally within internet-related industries or technical subject areas, and well-versed in using CAT

    You have experience in people management or vendor management, and have been focusing on people development and coaching in the past

    You are a self-driven team player with a strong sense of ownership

    You have a deep understanding of cultural differences and strong cross-cultural communication; capabilities; sensitivity to cultural nuances and familiarity with PR etiquette in local markets

    You have been leading regional/global strategic initiatives: designing, project managing and executing these initiatives with your team

    You have deep experience in Machine learning automated translation systems

    Preferred qualifications

    You preferably have master's degree or above with translation-related major
