Mechanical Technician - Singapore - AVENTIS PHARMA MANUFACTURING PTE LTD

Description

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance efficiently and effectively for process and utilities equipment and building facilities.

Possess good knowledge in maintaining and servicing of rotating equipment such as glass-lined reactor agitator, centrifuge, dryer, atomizers, pumps and similar equipment.

Possess good knowledge in maintaining and servicing static equipment such as heat-exchangers, vessel, valves (different type of valves) and similar equipment. Possess good skill in performing the following speciality tasks:

• Shaft laser alignment for pumps
• Vibration analysis tool
• Eddy current tester
• Glassline reactor spark test
• Thickness testing for reactors and columns.

Responsible for notifying immediate supervisor in a timely manner on deficiencies or anomalies observed during maintenance closure and raise corrective maintenance workorders in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Able to work in Confined Space, perform Work at Height and operate manlift.

Play a pro-active role in ensuring the HSE standards & Life Savings Rule are adhered to. Embraced Zero Incident Mindset and adopt the responsible of HSE protection policies and Life Saving Rules (LSR).

Practice safe engineering operation and ensure all HSE procedures are followed. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
