About our client:
Our client is a leading global specialty chemicals manufacturer.

  • Please note that this role will be hired on a fixedterm contract basis, with the opportunity to convert based on performance.
**About the role:

Role:


  • In charge of the small opex procurement of the site
  • Ensure the creation of Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP system on time
  • Coordination between the central procurement team and plant requestor team
  • Support on contract execution on site and expediting once PO is placed.

Sourcing RFQ and PO management

  • Proceed with project RFQ and commercial negotiation for plant operation capex and open
  • Management of contract and followup of execution of PO
  • Procurement documents achieve according to the procurement process
  • Saving reporting for the procurement activities completed
  • Proceed Purchase Requisition (PR) PO-Payment process for the contract signed
  • Follow up on expediting and change orders.

Site Coordination

  • Procurement window between requestor and GASP, facilitate the communication and clarification between GASP central team and site, ensure the proper understanding of site needs
  • In charge of the contract execution with the site once vendor selection, and contract establishment
  • Feedback issues/claims during contract execution
  • In charge of small purchases on site
  • Vendor performance review and evaluation

Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Management Systems

  • Ensure safe working conditions during execution at field and workshop.
  • Participate in achieving the HSEQ objectives of the plant.
  • Integrate and implement HSEQ corrective actions in his/her area of activity. Ensure the issuing of incident reports in his/ her area of activity.

About you:


  • Diploma/ Degree in Engineering
  • 35 years' of work experience in procurement/ supply chain function in oil and gas, chemical, or other industry plant
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and global team.
  • Good communication skills, openmindedness, and a team player willing to go the extra mile to complete the work.
  • Knowledge of SAP system is preferred Good command of English both in oral and written.
