Description
Objective of Asst Desktop Engineer (DE) support:
To manage the DE support in the short-term under the Circuit Breaker and Movement Control Order environment to minimize schools' user experience degradation
To structure the support such that more Singapore-based resources are in place
Short term structure can last from current time to Dec'20
Profile of Asst DE:
Fresh Graduates from ITE, Poly and University who are either waiting for NS, or just graduated and looking for jobs
Retrenched PMETs
Stay at home parents who want to work part time who are skilled but unable to do so because of school going kids
Older workers (Retirees)
Job Scope:
Basic IT support
Setup Classroom / Lab
Deploying Mobile Carts
Patching
Inventory management
Support during peak school hours
Pre-Requisites
Able to communicate effectively in English
Fit and Healthy as the job requires a fair bit of walking and climbing of stairs
Basic IT knowledge
Good attitude and able to follow simple instructions
Other details:
Working timing:
Mon-fri: As per MOE School timings
8am to 1pm or 9am to 2pm.
Sat & Sun – off
Salary: SGD 10 per hour + employer's CPF Contribution
2 months contract – extendable
