Reliability Team Leader located in

What You will do:


  • Assists in implementing plant compliance with Safety, health and environmental policies and regulations.
  • Execute all related preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance to safe practices as defined in the code of practice and/or authority requirement and guidelines.
  • Manages the Mechanical Integrity Program for EHCP and attend regional maintenance forum organized by ChampionX global team.
  • Cocoordinate, supervise and plan maintenance activities carried out by the contractors for all related equipment and system in order to meet the required specifications and standards. Also, ensure that equipment brought in by contractor meet the safety requirement of EHCP and regulatory.
  • Ensure all essential records of maintenance and testing are documented properly and stored, including work orders, checklists and forms in accordance to the department's requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis on equipment failure and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues which may also arise from vibration, oil and other analysis as part of predictive maintenance program.
  • Allocate works to technicians and ensure all jobs are correctly and properly achieved within standards & SOPs.
  • Hands on experience with Facility equipment (Air compressor, Chiller, Aircon, cooling tower, transformers and switch gears).
  • Requisite tools, parts, and supplies for used in facility maintenance. Ensure all spare parts are available for critical equipment and instrument.
  • Create and review Risk Assessment for Non-Routine and Routine Jobs.
  • Arrange Regulatory Inspection for Pressure Vessels, Lifting Appliances, Lifting Gears, Lifting Machines and Lifting Platforms.
  • Renewal EMA cert Yearly including transformer and 22Kva PM work initiate and follow up with Electrical PE.
  • Corporate Requirement Thermographic test for MCC& Incoming panel complete with vendor and maintain records for future Audit Purpose and correct if any deviation found.
  • Applies value analysis to repair/replace, redesign, and make/buy decisions.
  • Minimize Plant downtime through Proper Preventive Maintenance Program.
  • Select, train and motivate maintenance personnel in his team. Conducts performance appraisals and assist Reliability Manager to ensure fair allocation of salary/bonus allocation based on performance.
  • Review existing Preventive Maintenance program to identify gaps for improvement that developments into a comprehensive Reliability Maintenance Program.
  • Launch and maintain an effective Total Preventive Maintenance program for all critical and noncritical equipment as well as calibration program for all critical instrumentation.
  • To direct maintenance personnel to ensure planned maintenance schedule is carried out timely, safely and completion update are done accurately in CMMS.
  • Arrange for and coordinates the efficient and economical installation of new equipment, repair, or renewal of existing equipment throughout the facility. This includes factory and site acceptance testing that will assure adherence to functional specifications.
  • Calculates and provides cost estimation for maintenance and construction jobs to ensure economical and efficient work.
  • Willing to work on weekends, PH and after office hours when required.
  • Take part as an active member in EHCP's safety program. Participates/leads in RCA investigations as and when required
  • Maintain ISO documentations and support internal and external audits and activities in compliance to MHI requirement in EHCP.
  • Ensures that maintenance records on equipment, parts and supplies inventory, labor costs charges, purchased parts and supplies are complete and uptodate.
  • Assist Reliability Manager to estimates project and departmental budget needs. Monitor and control of spending within budget.
  • Assist Reliability Manager to plan and coordinates annual inspection and shut down schedules with minimize downtime.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by Reliability Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation and Control Engineering / Electrical and Electronic Engineering preferred
  • 510 years of related industrial maintenance experience; previous supervision experiences a plus. Ability to read electrical schematics; understanding of instrumentation, electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Working knowledge and hands on experience in troubleshooting of plant equipment such as motors, pumps, valves, switchgears, flow meters, HVAC, Process instrumentation and other systems.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings such as P&IDs, DCS/SIS/PLC logics, electrical schematics, instrumentation, mechanical and structural systems.
