    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

    The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources functions within the manufacturing facility. This role involves collaborating with department managers, fostering a positive working environment, implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and employee development to support the overall success of the Manufacturing Division.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Talent Acquisition:

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and ensure the timely filling of vacancies.
    • Implement effective strategies for attracting and retaining skilled talent in the manufacturing sector.

    Employee Relations:

    • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.
    • Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and address concerns to maintain a healthy work environment.

    Payroll Legislation

    • Coordinate and manage the entire payroll process.
    • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes.
    • Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations related to payroll.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
    • Implement and update payroll policies and procedures in accordance with legal changes.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll administration.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and implement changes accordingly.

    Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement performance management systems to monitor employee performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Coordinate the annual performance review process and provide guidance to managers on goal-setting and performance improvement.

    Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Support career development initiatives and succession planning.

    HR Policy and Compliance:

    • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
    • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations, and update policies accordingly.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Ensure competitive and fair salary structures for employees.
    • Administer employee benefit programs and communicate changes to employees.

    Safety and Wellness:

    • Collaborate with safety officers to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Implement wellness programs to promote employee health and well-being.

    HR Analytics and Reporting:

    • Utilize HR data and analytics to generate reports and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor key HR metrics and propose improvements based on data analysis.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as an HR manager, in a manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of Info-tech system will be an added advantage
    • In-depth knowledge of labour laws, HR best practices, and industry trends.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Able to work hands-on
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
