    Roles & Responsibilities

    The Talent Acquisition Executive / Associate analyses various approaches to identify the best way to build a strong pipeline of potential candidates and ensures an engaging and optimal experience for potential candidates.

    He/She conducts background checks, negotiates pay packages and presents employment offers to selected candidates. The incumbent will also be involved in creation of new hire information packs, develops content and delivers orientation sessions for new hires.

    Responsibilities

    Recruitment

    • Attracting and sourcing candidates, pre-screening and presenting qualified job candidates to the hiring manager
    • Ideate and lead recruitment plans to ensure that positions are filled in a timely manner (i.e. recruitment drive, campus outreach programs)
    • Manage external stakeholders and vendors involved in the sourcing and attraction of talent
    • Recommend and deploy a range assessment tools, techniques and technology solutions for hiring managers to evaluate the job-fit of candidates in order to reduce time taken to hire
    • Generate recruitment and attrition statistics and other reports as required
    • Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in selection, assessment and hiring, in accordance to fair employment regulations and practices
    • Oversee and coordinate manpower requisition tracker
    • Propose salary offers and coordinate signing of offer letters
    • Negotiate terms and conditions of offer to selected candidates within standard operating guidelines

    Onboarding and contract management

    • Facilitate relevant work visa applications
    • Design and deliver impactful orientation programmes for new joiners to facilitate their onboarding experience
    • Gather feedback from new joiners about their onboarding experience so as to take proactive actions to address areas for improvement in a timely manner
    • Facilitate assimilation of new joiners into the organisation and team through engagement with business units
    • Analyse data and feedback on the quality of onboarding experience

    Requirements

    • 1 - 3 years related work experience in end-to-end recruitment, prior experience in an agency setting will be highly advantageous
    • Experience in non-executive recruitment is a must (e.g. driver, warehouse assistants, technicians)
    • Conversant with Employment Act and fair employment guidelines
    • Effective communication, interpersonal skills and personable
    • Organized, quick thinking and efficient
    • Meticulous with effective follow-up skills
    • IT Savvy and literate in MS Office / Google suite office applications
    • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team-based environment
    • Working knowledge of applicant tracking system (ATS) is an advantage
