    Roles & Responsibilities

    As a Trade Operations Executive at JSW International Tradecorp Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations team in the drafting, preparation, and execution of contracts and other relevant documentation. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various stakeholders, managing contract data, ensuring compliance with shipping terms, and providing essential support to the Operations Manager in all aspects of trade operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Contract Support:

    • Assist in drafting, preparing, and reviewing contracts and relevant documentation.
    • Ensure contracts align with trade finance requirements and adhere to deal confirmations (specifications, price, shipping terms).

    2. Contract Execution Support:

    • Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth contract execution.
    • Ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and conditions.

    3. Data Management and Reporting:

    • Assist in maintaining the contract data register.

    4. Logistics and Shipment Support:

    • Assist in liaising with buyers, suppliers, and the freight team on logistics details.
    • Provide support in vessel nomination, acceptance, and issuance of shipping instructions.

    5. Document Compliance:

    • Assist in verifying shipping documents against Letter of Credit (LC) terms.
    • Support in Bill of Lading checking and switching as needed.
    • Assist in Letters of Indemnity (LOI) preparation.

    6. Laytime Management Support:

    • Assist in laytime calculations and negotiations with relevant parties.

    7. Port Agent Interaction:

    • Support in engaging with load port and discharge port agents for smooth operations.

    8. Financial Support:

    • Assist in following up with clients to issue letters of credits.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the coal trading industry.
    • In-depth knowledge of contract drafting, negotiation, and trade finance.
    • Familiarity with shipping documentation and Letter of Credit terms.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
