We are currently looking for a passionate Market Research Manager to further support the growing needs from business.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Based in Singapore, you will be responsible for conducting the user research, market research and industry analysis for home appliances industry and providing cutting-edge industry insights to business leaders.


By using strategies such as market research, competition analysis, and technology trend analysis, understanding the market size, competition pattern, development trend, policy and regulations of the industry.


By conducting in-depth investigation and analysis of target users, understanding users' needs, behaviours, attitudes, preferences and other aspects, in order to provide effective guidance and support for product design, marketing, users experience and other aspects.


The daily functions will be:

  • Lead all aspects of user research and market research, including:
  • Understand internal business units' objective for project and design relevant proposal
  • Conduct indepth user research and market (desk & secondary) research; Have capability to recruit specific users in the field of some specific home appliances, for example, specific highend brands or models of refrigerator
  • Analyse competitor strategies, benchmark, performance
  • Moderate interviews with users and industry experts;
  • Design of questionnaires, discussion guides
  • Analysis and report writing;
  • Presentation to internal business units/leaders
  • Liaise with internal customers, vendors, and internal analysts;
  • Build strong relationship with global and local vendors to support all user research and market research activities.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor or master degree in engineeringrelated field.
  • At least 4 years' experience in international user research and market research companies is preferred.
  • To bring in existing network of vendors to support user research and market research activities
  • Able to communicate with people at all levels about goals, responsibility, performance, expectations and feedback effectively.
  • Solid market research and user analysis skills.
  • Confident, optimistic and great teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English, Chinese and Japanese (to liaise with Mandarin and Japanese speaking stakeholders).
