Our spanish restaurant is looking for a hard-working and efficientCommis Chef to prepare meal ingredients for the Chef de Partie and assist with various kitchen duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors kitchen equipment and reports issues to superiors
- Continually develops culinary knowledge to produce highquality meals
- Measures, mixes, and prepares meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings
- Washes, chops, and cuts fruit, meat, and vegetable items
- Assesses inventory and requests resupply when necessary
- Plates meal items under the Chef de Partie's supervision
- Disposes of spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies
Requirements:
- Education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
- Available to work weekends, and holidays.
- Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
- Strong task and time management abilities
