Job


Responsibilities:

Managing day to day SOC operations
Work closely with HQ SOC team members, oversees, manages ,improves security policies, Standard Operating Procedures, incident response workflows, playbooks, etc
Work closely with presales consultant in prospecting new customers
Establish connect with prospective clients by demonstrating knowledge of various aspects of SOC and identify opportunities for assistance
Manage and ensure smooth process in the onboarding of new SOC customers
Help retain, train and develop the SOC team by demonstrating superior leadership skills
Work as the Subject Matter Expert of SOC
Lead and work closely with various teams including forensics, incident response, threat intelligence, threat hunting etc
Ensure service delivery to customers meet with requirements in Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Ensure the quality of deliverables and clients are satisfied with the work
Plan, allocate and manage the manpower and equipment resources within the SOC
Manage the SOC equipment and systems, ensure obsolescence protection, upgrade, patch, updates, maintenance, connectivity, upgrade and support

Competency

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent
At least 3 to 5 years of experience managing a SOC, or handles onboarding activities related to SOC


Professional certifications would be added advantage: CISSP, CISM, CREST or any other relevant qualifications
Ability to manage a team of analysts and engineers and to be seen as a role model
Able to be on 24/7 standby for critical emergency incidents
