DESIGNATION :
Manager, Community Resources and Networks


RESPONSIBILITIES

The Community Resource and Networks (CRN) team envisions a Singapore where charities and groundups are supported to effect change, and leaders step forward to advance society. The team supports charities and groundups in meeting community needs by aggregating resources through partnerships and cultivating networks to develop relationships and collaborations.

The team supports these efforts by focusing on 4 key areas:

  • Aggregating Resources with Partners


Seeking out partnerships with other service providers and enablers to provide resources, such as space and shared services and empower charities and groundups to carry out their work.


  • Building Communities


Conducting networking events around different topics to strengthen relationships among charities and groundups and nurture impactful collaborations with the wider ecosystem.


  • Capability Building


Providing a safe space for peer learning and sharing of best practices in areas that would benefit charities and groundups (e.g fundraising, leadership development etc) to keep our stakeholders up to date with the latest trends and standards.


  • Advocacy & Publicity


Crafting stories to inspire the wider community to do good and propel individuals and organisations to further their giving journey.


The core role of this position would be to lead and facilitate engagements and partnerships, programme development and champion stakeholder management for the team.

Responsibilities would include:


  • Engagements with charities, groundups and other ecosystem partners to identify trends and gaps in the giving landscape.
  • Synthesise insights from engagements to plan and develop initiatives for engagement, community building and capability development for charities and groundups.
  • Perform relationship manager role for Groundup Central members, which entails supporting them in their onboarding or renewal process, attending their volunteering activities and being the primary point of contact for any assistance required.
  • Collaborate with other NVPC teams to meet objectives to grow the giving community and ecosystem in Singapore, including support for crossfunctional workstreams and events e.g. SG Cares Giving Week, President's Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards etc.
  • Support any other administrative duties, as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a bachelor's degree or it's equivalent
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience working in partnerships, community engagement or stakeholder management roles
  • Good knowledge of the nonprofit sector
  • Able to independently network and manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Ability to analyze information in a meaningful way
  • Good at planning and organising events
  • Good project management skills
  • Passionate about the nonprofit sector and making a difference
