DESIGNATION :
Manager, Sales


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, create, lead, and establish Sales opportunities and build effective relationships with potential partners.
  • Build and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline to ensure that revenue targets are met and exceeded where possible.
  • Key objective is to maximize occupancy and revenue to achieve the business targets of the company.
  • You will need to establish and manage customer relationships and provide valueadded services to generate new and repeat business.
  • You will also be required to oversee the event from initial sales process to completion of the event.
  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through proactive, consultative sales approach.
  • Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposal to clients.
  • Develop new ideas and approaches to match the customer's requirements and event needs.
  • Identify market trends and keep abreast of latest events and brand activations to stay relevant.
  • Report on monthly sales activities and customer engagement.
  • Attend site visits, preconference planning meetings, and appropriate venue meetings as necessary to support the customer event experience.
  • Other adhoc tasks will be assigned from time to time by your reporting officer.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant work experience in Tourism and Hospitality, MICE, Corporate Sales and/or Events.
  • Possesses a strong network of business contacts cultivated throughout your career.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets through a resultsoriented approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Highly motivated and analytical and excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • An independent and proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Able to work on weekend for events when required.
