Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for independent and self-driven individuals who embrace challenges and love to explore new technologies and platforms.

What you will be doing:

• Be part of the core development team
• Design, implement and test server-side software components using appropriate programming languages & frameworks
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability, responsiveness and reliability
• Identify and resolve bugs, bottlenecks, and other system issues
• Design and implement data storage solutions
• Develop efficient database schemas and queries to store and retrieve ata
• Implement data models and schemas that align with business requirements
• Ensure data security integrity and compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including working closely with product managers to understand project and business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensure the design and implementation of the mobile application has strong coding quality and security protection
• Work closely with other developers for smooth integration with backend APIs
• Work closely with other developers for design and integration with mobile responsive web applications
• Ongoing support for the existing mobile applications

What we need from you:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
• Proficient in Unity, Cocos2d and C/C++ will be preferred
• At least 3 years of backend development experience
• Have a good understanding of web application architecture
• An excellent foundation in algorithms
• Knowledge of database concepts is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new designs and requirements
• A hunger to learn & develop your professional skills
• Problem solver and able to work under limited supervision, and a team player
• Proactive, keen learner, and able to apply structured, analytical thinking to design and development
• Good communication skills
• Mandarin speaking is a must as you will need to liaise with the team from China
