Responsibilities:


  • Assist In the conceptual and operational design of bar and beverage concepts.
  • Create and craft cocktails, alcoholic beverages, nonalcoholic drinks, and other concoctions to ensure that the Hotel has a unique and desirable menu of options for guests.
  • Understand the market and its customers and guide the team in the process of renewing the beverage list and implementing new concepts, promotional activities to attract customers and enhance loyalty.
  • Maintain a wellstocked bar, including all ingredients needed to prepare signature drinks and standard drink orders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area to ensure a safe environment for guests.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing to ensure contractual obligations and sales targets are achieved.
  • Involved in marketing discussions and decisions to ensure exposure of the restaurants and bars of the Hotel.
  • Works closely with the restaurant service team and the chefs in order to deliver luxury service in the dining area.
  • To ensure inventory, requisition, par stocks and control systems are in place to maintain cost control.
  • Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures.
  • Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the General Manager.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
  • Good knowledge of food, wine & bar.
  • Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
  • Selfmotivated and energetic.
