- Ensure efficient operation of the Company's computer systems and provide technical support to users both onshore and aboard vessels owned or operated by the Company.
- Responsibilities include installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor and maintain office and ship computer systems, networks, and hardware, including coordination with external IT vendors.
- Provide assistance to shore and sea staff in troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing the Company's IT policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the Company's cybersecurity defense by configuring and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, antivirus software, access points, etc.
- Conduct disaster recovery operations as necessary.
- Provide on-board IT support by boarding vessels when required.
- Assist in the implementation of new information-system management software for the Company.
- Participate in assigned projects and tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum diploma in a related discipline.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capable of working independently.
- Willingness to board vessels within Singapore waters (safety training provided).
- Experience in setting up and managing new information software systems is advantageous.
