    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure efficient operation of the Company's computer systems and provide technical support to users both onshore and aboard vessels owned or operated by the Company.
    • Responsibilities include installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
    • Monitor and maintain office and ship computer systems, networks, and hardware, including coordination with external IT vendors.
    • Provide assistance to shore and sea staff in troubleshooting and resolving hardware or software issues.
    • Assist in developing and implementing the Company's IT policies and procedures.
    • Contribute to the Company's cybersecurity defense by configuring and upgrading routers, switches, firewalls, antivirus software, access points, etc.
    • Conduct disaster recovery operations as necessary.
    • Provide on-board IT support by boarding vessels when required.
    • Assist in the implementation of new information-system management software for the Company.
    • Participate in assigned projects and tasks.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
    • Minimum diploma in a related discipline.
    • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Capable of working independently.
    • Willingness to board vessels within Singapore waters (safety training provided).
    • Experience in setting up and managing new information software systems is advantageous.
