DESIGNATION :
Lead Programme Manager (3-year contract), SMU Executive Development


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a Team Lead/ Senior Programme Manager in our growing Executive Development division to lead our Program Managers to support the delivery of various professional development programmes and learning events for individuals and organizations
  • Work closely with the directors, heads, other programme managers, academics, associates and clients both local and international
  • Responsible for conveying the SMU Executive Development (SMU ExD) brand by providing excellent customer service and attention to detail that create positive and memorable participants and client experiences
  • Manage a team of programme managers with a strong focus on skills development and service delivery (when necessary)
  • Develop self and others striving for excellence, encouraging success and learning
  • Develop and enhance the operational delivery of all SMU ExD programmes to enrich the learning experience at all times
  • Support the programme team continuously through management of the operational process, through liaison with clients, programme directors, faculty and associates, programme managers to external providers and partners, so that programmes are delivered to the highest standard
  • Manage all planning, programme administration and coordination of modules, assessments, progression, submissions and graduation for a range of programmes before, during and after programme sessions
  • Manage budgets and schedules planning and deliver on projects
  • Confident in communicating with all levels of management as it involves significant interaction with internal business units especially faculty and with our learners and business clients by ensuring continued exceptional service delivery and promoting the highquality image of the SMU
  • Maintain the CRM information and online learning areas of specific programmes
  • Experience in personality and leadership profiling/ assessment instruments will be an added advantage
  • The role is expected to evolve as the business grows and the incumbent will be expected to carry out new duties as directed by SMU ExD Executive Director

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Learning/Organisational Development/Leadership Development/Executive Education or HR Consulting
  • Mature outlook and leadership capabilities
  • Be able to grow a career and take on new responsibilities
  • Be able to work flexible hours, which would include some evenings and weekends to accommodate the various programmes
  • Have a proven track record in a similar role and / or environment
  • Experience with process improvement concepts and practice; with university level processes and governance is an advantage
  • Able to work across departments within the university effectively and with ambiguity
  • Ability to multitask and work under time pressure
  • A team player, resourceful, organized, meticulous and responsible
  • Highly organized timely, efficient
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
