Primary Objective(s) of Position

  • This position is responsible for effective handling of Spot-Bid / Tenders from customers and aligning opportunities with the company's strategic objectives

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and propose pricing methodologies
  • Conduct cost analyses for monitoring pricing landscape
  • Update overall price schedule for profit calculation
  • Prepare reporting material and present pricing analyses
  • Work closely with the sales team to define pricing structure for company products
  • Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Person Specifications

  • A bachelor's degree in business or logistics and supply chain management
  • At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in logistics, shipping or supply chain
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel (Pivot table, V/H-Lookup and etc.)
  • Knowledge of forwarding/supply chain business in managing an RFQ
  • Strong analytical mind and a pronounced affinity for working with numbers
  • Ability to work under pressure to cope with periods of high workload and tight timelines for multiple deadline bids in parallel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to properly engage with country pricing teams of different cultural backgrounds
