We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Specialist, Lifestyle Claims.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all General Insurance Claims as designated by the Claims Manager
  • Advise policyholders, claimants and intermediaries on claims related matters
  • Initiate investigation and settlement processes
  • Liaise with loss adjuster, investigator & lawyer to ensure claim is processed promptly
  • Perform analysis on claims and losses
  • Authorization of reserves and payments within assigned authority limits (SGD TBA) for reserving and payments
  • Initiate claim recovery (if any), update 'H' screen in AS400 and forward to Recovery Team to following up
  • Provide support to Manager and Management on ad hoc assignment/ project as designated by the Claims Manager
  • Where appropriate Provide guidance and training to Executive assistant and Admin Assistant
Requirements


Requirements:


  • Diploma in any discipline, with relevant insurance certifications
  • 3 years of relevant working experience in the General Insurance sector, preferably with experience in handling Travel, Personal Accident, Property, Public Liability and WICA Claims
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of local legislations
  • Independent and a fast leaner, ability to grasp processes and system quickly
  • Proven track record to work effectively and independently
  • Customer oriented and a team player
