Description

This role will oversee the reporting and consolidation of the Group's subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures across various geographies.

The role will work closely with the finance team of each region to review their numbers, provide guidance on accounting treatment, and align the Group's accounting policies.

There will also be significant involvement in various Group Finance projects.

Work with the regional subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures to review their reporting and perform consolidation of their results.
Analyse the regions' financial performance, including tracking of various financial and operational metrics.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly group reports and presentations for management and various stakeholders.
Provide guidance to the regions' finance teams on accounting treatment.
Draft accounting papers to address accounting treatment and position adopted by management on accounting issues.
Align and update the Groups' accounting policies, ensuring compliance with SFRS(I) and any new accounting issues if any.
Assist with the preparation of the yearend Group consolidated accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
Support new system and alignment of chart of accounts on SAP S/4 HANA Group Reporting and financial / operating metrics. Participate in key initiatives driven by Group Finance and other adhoc projects.

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting with Chartered Accountant certification.
Minimum 6 years of total relevant working experience, including Big 4 audit working experience.
Good command in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in speaking with internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in Group Consolidation and financial reporting.
Strong technical background with good understanding of accounting standards, able to grasp complex accounting issues and provide guidance to relevant stakeholders.
Hands on, ability to work independently in a fastpaced environment.
Wellorganised and meticulous with excellent attention to details.
Experience in US SEC reporting is an advantage.
Good Excel skills and familiarity with SAP S/4 HANA is a plus.
