Job Description & Summary

The role is to support Compliance Senior Manager and support the Compliance function. It involves carrying out day to day monitoring activities for Compliance Unit, as well as planning and managing projects related to Compliance Standards.

It is a 12-month secondment as a minimum.

Roles & Responsibilities

To assist with day-to-day running and monitoring of AML/KYC and Sanction screening activities firm wide, including: responding to queries, providing assessment for clearance of Partner responsible for AML, reviewing the administrator's work on AML/KYC matters, ensuring key controls are performed and reviewed.

To support the Compliance Unit with assessment and implementation of requirements in the Ethics & Compliance standards – AML, Sanctions, Information Protection, etc.

To plan and carry out compliance testing with various functional groups within the firm, including interviewing staff grade managers on compliance matters

To co-ordinate and design Compliance training materials. To also carry out the Compliance training, once the individual has gone through Train the Trainers' basic training.

To support the Compliance Unit with other firm wide SDC outsourcing initiatives, working with firm wide X-LoS RM teams

Main working relationship

Internally, the Compliance AM/Manager will be working closely with the Compliance Senior Manager and administrator. On certain matters, the administrator will report to the Compliance AM/Manager.

Has experience managing small audit or working teams

Good communication skills, as the role involves working with others and internal functional roles
