Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager leads a responsible for supply, demand, and inventory functions which are critical to manufacturing success.


The incumbent is focused on ensuring Kemin is in a strong position in regards to efficient inventory levels, availability and on-time delivery of products.

The position responsibilities includes analyzing plant supply/inventory levels, customer demands, and creating a manufacturing plan to best meet the business needs.

Responsibilities:


  • AOX: Accelerate NaOX production from US > Asia (CN/SG) to deliver cost and leadtime savings; For SOX, how to optimise delivery leadtime and cost savings from 3 Asian supply base (China, Singapore, India), as ~100% Asian made now.
  • PAL: Co ordinating with Scott and team for US > Asia (logistics, shipment details, local inventories)
  • FS/H&N: Specific supply chain followup and coordination on new launches, shipping and inventory matters.
  • Customer Service: Working closely with local CS, including nonKN CS to coordinate and manage (1) to (3), with the objective to improve OTIF (customer satisfaction) and cost optimization of supply chain.
  • Leading regional S&OP process with global and regional team (for

PAL:
US) including cost optimization vs OTIF/Service rate

  • Customer complaints: working closely with Sales/CS (to ensure these are keyed into ETQ) and working closely with QA to ensure these are followed up promptly.

Qualifications:

  • This exempt position may be based in Singapore. Up to 50% domestic and Asia travel is required
  • Bachelor's Degree with 57 years of experience
  • Previous management experience is required
  • Previous manufacturing, scheduling, or Operations experience highly desire
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Strong decision making abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a team environment
