    Job Title: Clinic Assistant (Shift Work)

    Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Clinic Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Clinic Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations within the clinic. This role requires flexibility in working various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate our patients' needs.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere within the clinic.
    2. Register patients by collecting necessary personal and insurance information accurately and confidentially.
    3. Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits, coordinating with medical staff and ensuring optimal patient flow.
    4. Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information and assistance as required.
    5. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documents, ensuring all required information is obtained.
    6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, waiting room, and other common areas.
    7. Manage patient records and files efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations.
    8. Assist medical staff with various tasks as needed, including escorting patients to examination rooms and preparing examination rooms for procedures.
    9. Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
    10. Perform administrative duties such as photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents as required.
    11. Collaborate with other clinic staff to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and services.
    12. Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

    Qualifications:

    1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
    2. Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is advantageous.
    3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and compassionate demeanor.
    4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    5. Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office Suite and electronic medical records systems.
    6. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
    7. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    8. Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
    9. CPR certification may be required, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

    Working Conditions:

    • This position requires working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate clinic hours and patient needs.
    • The Clinic Assistant will primarily work in a clinical office environment, with occasional exposure to medical equipment and instruments.
    • The role may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, as well as occasional lifting or moving of light objects.
