The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic, always seeking new business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The primary goal of these teams is to offer Shopee's buyers a diverse range of product listings at competitive prices. Explore our current openings within the Business Development and Partnerships team and discover how you can contribute to our success.

Advocate for Shopee to onboard merchants across different business models, such as Shopee's marketplace and logistics arm (Shopee Xpress)
Manage the entire acquisition process from lead generation to store set-up, including face-to-face pitches and negotiations
Identify market gaps through trend analysis and competitor research to enhance Shopee's market position

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a recognized university or polytechnic
Demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
Positive, team-oriented, and enthusiastic demeanor
Display an entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership of tasks
Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for building partner relationships
Comfortable with data analysis, proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus
Prior experience in e-commerce is beneficial
Knowledge of industries like FMCG, Fashion, Lifestyle, or Electronics is a bonus
Prefer full-time interns (3-6 months commitment)
Part-time interns (minimum 3 working days per week) are also encouraged to apply
