Responsibilities:


  • Schedule and chair monthly credit meeting and discuss any outstanding issues.
  • Work closely with Sales Department on the decision to grant credit facilities and collections.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts to ensure that credit facilities and terms are not exceeded.
  • Conduct periodic credit reviews of existing customers.
  • Track guest ledger balances and accounts transferred to the city ledger.
  • Oversee Accounts Receivable section. Review Accounts Receivable ledger, high balance report and monitor incoming payment on a daily basis.
  • Prepare periodic reports to keep management up to date on the status of collections.
  • Liaise with companies for payments to be made within the acceptable time frame.
  • Resolve any billing disputes with the customers and follow up on overdue accounts through verbal and written methods.
  • Conduct checks on room rates to ensure all rates charged are in accordance with the agreed rates.
  • Relieve or extend any assistance to other accounting colleagues in their absence.
  • Perform any other job tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry.
  • Selfmotivated and strong interpersonal skills.
