The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As the APAC Treasury Operations Lead, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supervising _the APAC Regional operations and Global Delivery Center teams _in a broad end to end Treasury role with exposure to senior management and ability to drive change with meaningful impact
- Driving operational excellence and Treasury best practices utilizing market leading metrics and data analytics in respect to team's day to day responsibilities (e.g. cash/liquidity forecasting and positioning, management of intercompany inhouse banking and payment netting processes, settlement and analysis of various FX, trade finance and investments financial market instruments)
- Partnering with other treasury/finance areas to support closing cycles; ensure relevant compliance on local statutory (such as FX control) requirements
- Being a change leader that will challenge the status quo and operates with a continuous improvement mindset
- Supporting and executing strategies in respect to subsidiary repatriation, acceleration of intercompany cash flows, M&A, legal entity restructuring and leveraging marketplace Treasury innovations
- Leading global initiatives to transform various aspects of the treasury operating model such as global pooling structures, regional cash management, paymentonbehalfof, etc.
- Managing and maintaining company's banking infrastructure and relationships, including monitoring service and pricing structures.
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university
- 8 years of treasury experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Advanced education or certification such as Master's degree, MBA, CTP, CFA or equivalent from an accredited institution
- International Treasury operations knowledge including In-House Banking models, cross functional settlements, and analysis of financial market transactions
- Knowledge of LEAN management principles or LEAN certification
- Experience implementing and leveraging various Treasury Management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to manage a variety of projects simultaneously, prioritizing requirements to meet deadlines and critical needs
- Experience identifying opportunities for process, system or other changes and successfully implementing these changes
- Experience leading others and contributing on crossfunctional global teams
