Description

This position is responsible for sourcing function for the Sales Team to ensure best cost for sales quotation to win orders.

The Sourcing Executive sources for supplier quotes based on customer requirements and negotiate with suppliers to ensure best cost is achieved.

• Responsible for sourcing function to obtain best cost for sales quotation
• Review customer requirements to ensure accurate sourcing of quotes from vendors/suppliers
• Negotiate and liaise with vendors on cost ensuring timely response while meeting customer quote requirements
• Evaluate best option for costing considering supplier/vendor performance/capability
• Perform make/buy decisions based on outcome of sourcing activity
• Work with Procurement team to identify and develop new vendors

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in technical field or equivalent
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-driven individual with a positive learning attitude
• Possess basic knowledge in
  ERP systems
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, coating, threading and raw materials common to Oil & Gas industry is preferred
