    [What the role is]

    Join a team of dynamic professionals to support the Diploma in Business Management on-campus Teaching Enterprise Project (TEP) Centres. You will play a key role in the daily administration and operations of the TEP centres, taking on supervisory responsibilities to guide, mentor and encourage the students in their various projects and events. In addition, you will support supplier/stakeholder management and business development efforts.

    [What you will be working on]

    The Executive supports the admin and business development efforts in School of Business Management (SBM) Teaching Enterprise Project Centres.

    (1) TEP Centres admin/ops

  • Support the daily administration and operations of 3 TEP centres (Business Research Service Centre, CareerLink and Customer Experience & Analytics approximate 300 students per year.
  • Provide administrative support to schedule & roster students, and ensure daily operations are functioning well.
  • Provide support to TEP Centre Supervisors in monitoring of attendance & related issues, assist in overseeing student conduct and adherence to centre rules and policies, and other related student/academic matters.
  • Provide administrative, procurement and clerical assistance.
  • Monitor budget and utilisation rate for 3 TEP centres
  • Liaise with vendors for equipment & facility maintenance and contract services at the TEP Centres.
  • Conduct briefing to students, monitor student conduct and assist in supervising student activities at the 3 TEP Centres.
  • Take on supervisory responsibilities to guide, mentor and encourage the students in their various projects and events.
  • Coordinate and liaise with internal and external agencies/clients to make arrangements for events, workshops or training required at all 3 TEP centres.
  • (2) TEP Centres Business Development

  • Conduct market research to identify business development possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Actively seek out new business development opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Assist Centre Managers to set up meetings with potential industry partners.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate BD presentations.
  • Gather feedback from industry partners or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • [What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualification in Business, Marketing or related discipline
  • Conversant in MS Office suite
  • Track record of at least 1 year in admin or related BD work experience preferred
  • Strong communicator, service mindset and interpersonal skills
  • Possess problem solving skills, adaptability and innovative mindset
  • Sound sense of purpose and passion for working with youth
  • Ability to support and coordinate business development & outreach events/projects, including virtual webinar/roadshows & marketing of the programmes to the respective target markets
  • Effective administration of TEP Centres (monitoring of attendance & related issues, assist in overseeing student conduct and adherence to centre rules and policies, and other related student/academic matters).
  • Nature of job is operational and requires keen attention to details.
