    :

    APAC is considered one of the highest potential growth markets. This position is critical to the future growth of the Specialty Eye Care's business. The role entails developing a long-term strategy for the SEC portfolio of products, as well as executing the operational management of this strategy by partnering with distributors and internal Cooper Vision and SEC functions.

    Scope:

    Responsible for leading the Specialty Eye Care portfolio in the Asia Pacific Region (excluding China). The role will be responsible for strategic direction, portfolio management and driving sales for SEC across APAC. The person in charge will manage the performance of current distributors, develop new distributors while evaluating opportunities and setting up plans to go direct in appropriate markets. A key success factor for the role will be managing key stakeholder relationships with global teams (manufacturing, supply chain, IT, Finance, commercial) in both SEC and CVI organizations while integrating the SEC portfolio into the wider CVI processes and organization. KOLs and key external account engagement will be a critical aspect of enhancing SEC reputation and position in the APAC region. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive portfolio management approach for the wide SEC range of products and building a synergistic portfolio approach within myopia management products as a whole. This role will work closely with cross functional and company divisions to develop and execute plans that leverage the entire myopia platform.

    Essential Functions:

  • Lead the development of the business plan for the Asia-Pac region including developing existing markets and expanding into new territories.
  • Establish the strategic direction and go-to-market business model for SEC across APAC. Responsible for integrating SEC portfolio within the CV myopia management and establishing a leading position for SEC within the portfolio approach.
  • Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across SEC and CVI global teams (manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, IT) while integrating SEC processes into CVI.
  • Managing KOL relationships in enhancing CVI/SEC reputation and scientific support for SEC
  • Collaborating with market teams to establish launch plans for SEC portfolio in key markets such as Taiwan, Japan and Korea and coordinating launch activities with global cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for marketing planning, execution and demand generation of the entire Specialty Eye Care portfolio in the Asia Pac region (except China).
  • Responsible for achieving assigned sales budget.
  • Responsible for Distributor management and direct relationships with major accounts in the region
  • Continued evaluation of distributor performance.
  • Develop and execute a product portfolio strategy with relevant product positioning, pricing and patient mapping approach.
  • Working closely with distributors to develop strategic plans and market promotions designed to grow our sales and market presence -then assessing .
  • Develop relationships with key retailers to support the growth of our products.
  • Key Opinion Leader Development and management.
  • Making effective use of current KOL's and developing new ones that support our commercial and non-commercial messaging /education.
  • Participating in our LRSP process.
  • Submits reports on region's performance and any required financial reports, including expense reports.
  • Build strong network across CooperVision and Specialty Eyecare.
  • Work with RA/QA to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Support in the identification of M&A candidates.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Sales and sales management experience
  • Prefer knowledge of Specialty Contact Lens Markets in Asia Pac/particularly in Myopia management

  • Experience:

  • 10 years relevant commercial and leadership experience with a minimum of 3 years in the specialty contact industry or Professional Eyecare experience with sales background.
  • Some clinical experience is preferred.
  • Strategic direction and strategy planning experience – 3+ years preferred.
  • Marketing and portfolio management experience – 3 years.
  • 3-5 years of distributor management experience.
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or science-related field
  • MBA degree a plus
  • Eyecare Certifications/License a plus
  • Work Environment:
    Office-based with 25-50% travel across APAC
