Responsibilities:


  • To perform component local sourcing activities focusing on hardware fastener, electronics components etc
  • Working closely with the buyer/planner to achieve the KPIs set by the management material cost reduction target).
  • To sourcenew components to support new projects
  • To be able to perform cost analysis and select best supplier to meet the productrequirement
  • To be responsible in managing the relationship with supplierson all commercial issues
  • Undertake Adhoc duties as required in line with company's growth directions.
  • Assist materials manager in daytoday operations

Requirements:


  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent
  • Efficient in MS Office.
  • Communications and negotiation skills with good business sense.
  • Knowledge on procurement and sourcing processes
  • At least5 years experiences in mechanical hardware fastener e.g., screw,bolts, nuts fittingsand good knowledge of supplier base in Asia region.
