- We're looking for a Product Control Analyst to join our APAC Finance team

What you'll do:
As a Product Control Analyst, you'll support the APAC Finance team in achieving objectives, project, and process improvement initiatives, and collaborate with finance management in the review and challenge of profit and loss controls and reports.
You'll be responsible for monitoring and managing profit and loss, valuation and balance sheet controls associated with trading activities in the region.
Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to provide support on other finance activities, including monitoring regional treasury policies and asset and liability management requirements, finance risk and control matters, financial and regulatory reporting, and transfer pricing aspects.
Through the course of your work, you'll:
- Support with the resolution of all non-standard queries
- Identify improvements in processes to obtain efficiencies and improve key controls
- Provide an accurate and timely service to Finance stakeholders
- Establish and maintain excellent relations with internal and external stakeholders, and work proactively with them to resolve any issue
The skills you'll need:
To succeed in this role, you'll need at least three years of relevant experience in a finance or banking environment with a good understanding of financial markets, including products, valuation, and risk across asset classes.
Alongside strong control awareness, including an understanding of the key controls required, you'll bring excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to identify and resolve issues with minimum supervision and prioritise workloads in a pressured environment.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CA, ACCA, FRM, CIMA or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools
- An understanding of the front to back setup within investment banking, including systems, processes, and functions
- The ability to build strong business relationships in a changing and fast paced environment, and work well as a team to meet objectives
