  • The Manager, Corporate Finance works as integral part of transaction teams and takes responsibility for certain aspects in the evaluation of investment opportunities, including asset acquisitions and M&A transactions, the structuring, origination, negotiation and executions along the capital structure, including debt and equity financings, private placements and public offerings, and is involved in the management of relationships with lenders and investors as well as the ongoing management of the capital structure and the debt profile and related activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate investment opportunities in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as business development, projects, operations, accounting, tax and legal, review charter contracts and other commercial agreements, and participate in negotiations with clients
  • Manage the due diligence process in collaboration with internal and external parties
  • Build accurate and robust financial and valuation models
  • Structure, originate and execute project and corporate financings, including the negotiation and documentation of term sheets and financing agreements with lenders and investors in collaboration with internal and external parties, and manage the closing process
  • Prepare and communicate investment and financing proposals, presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage relationships internal and external stakeholders, such as lenders and investors, financial advisers and law firms and keep everyone informed and involved
  • Assist in the mapping of the financial strategy and prospecting financing opportunities
  • Monitor financing arrangements, covenants, cash flows, financial risks and valuation throughout the asset and financing life cycle and report to and communicate with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentor and provide guidance, supervision, onthejob training and knowledge transfer to junior members of the team
  • Manage ad hoc matters arising and perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:


  • At least 6 to 10 years of work experience in corporate and/or project finance, investment banking, and/or private equity; experience in the financing of infrastructure and/or offshore oil and gas projects is considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills, a good understanding of general accounting, legal, tax and finance aspects, and advanced knowledge in investment analysis and valuation, the international energy markets, and the international financial markets
  • Exceptional proficiency in financial modelling (Microsoft Excel) and advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and the ability to produce wellstructured written materials and articulate complex matters concisely and effectively
  • A systematic approach to solve complex problems and solutionoriented thinking with high attention to detail
  • A high degree of selfmotivation, ambitious and handson, with an entrepreneurial mindset; a good team player with the ability to engage with people and deliver within tight deadlines and in a fastpaced, international environment
  • A good degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance or equivalent from a recognised university; a postgraduate degree and/or a professional qualification such as CFA are considered an advantage
