    About IHRP and Professional Practices & Community

    The Institute for Human Resources Professionals (IHRP) was established to professionalize and strengthen HR practice in Singapore. IHRP sets the standards for HR and human capital development in organisations. Through a range of national human capital programmes such as the IHRP Certification, Job Redesign Center of Excellence, Human Capital Diagnostics Tool and IHRP Knowledge Partner Programme, IHRP aims to develop HR as a strategic enabler of business and workforce transformation and foster a vibrant HR services eco-system to drive innovation and change.

    The Professional Practices & Community (PP&C) team, which you will be a part of, defines the standards of professional ethics, mindsets and competencies in HR professionals at various levels and promotes progressive and inclusive practicesthat inspire public trust and confidence in the HR profession.

    Job Scope and Responsibilities

    The incumbent will spearhead the adoption of job redesign nationally through developing and/or enhancing the "National Job Evaluation Tool" and other HR-related systems. Reporting to both the Head of the Professional Practice & Community Department, and IHRP's CIO, the incumbent will also have the remit of harmonizing & integrating other HR diagnostic tools to ensure that IHRP delivers a holistic value proposition to help companies increase their business and HR bench-strength through workforce transformation and job redesign.

    Scope of responsibilities would include the following:

    The incumbent will serve as IHRP's primary point of contact and will have overall accountability to ensure the national rollout of the National Job Evaluation Tool. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Managing the appointed vendor to ensure that all project deliverables are rolled out based on the agreed timeline and meet the pre-specified objectives.
    • Understanding the HR objectives of the JE Tool, viz (i) assessing company's readiness for job redesign, (ii) identifying jobs for JR; and (iii) assessing the value of jobs to be redesigned
    • Understanding the technical architecture including process flow, security and integration with IHRP's existing systems.

    Post implementation, the incumbent will be responsible for reviewing and recommending enhancements, both stemming from a HR and Technical perspective.

    Review IHRP's Human Capital Diagnostic Tool with the long-term view of integrating it with the National JE Tool. Ideally, the objective is have a "one-stop system" for companies to undertake a diagnosis of the human capital practice and embark on appropriate interventions.

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you should ideally have the following requirements:

    • 10 years' experience in a HRIS or related IT role
    • Strong technical proficiency and demonstrated ability in HR systems development and implementation (e.g. Success Factor, SAP, Workday etc),
    • Excellent project & stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and to balance multi-faceted workstreams
    • Experience and knowledge of HR practices. Prior experience in job evaluation will be an added advantage.
