DESIGNATION :
Partnership and Development Director


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research and identify opportunities for fundraising growth, creating a priority list of key relationships to establish, strengthen, and manage.
  • Build, maintain, and manage a portfolio of up to 120 key individual relationships with influential people in the territory, including corporate, faith, university, and service club leaders.
  • Develop a workflow and process for partnership tracking, analysis, and regular progress reporting.
  • Create strategic partnership plans and communicate the vision to potential partners, ensuring alignment with The Salvation Army's mission and values.
  • Develop tailored partnership proposals for different groups based on their areas of interest, collaborating with the Public Relations Director to execute fundraising strategies.
  • Conceptualize and develop innovative fundraising concepts and goals that capture donor attention and inspire specific giving quanta, highlighting the size and specific impact of their contributions.
  • Connect potential partners with The Salvation Army's senior and local leadership, facilitating collaboration with the Public Relations Director for fundraising efforts.
  • Assist in the recruitment of influential individuals for advisory boards and committees that support and fundraise for The Salvation Army's programs.
  • Promote and expand the Salvation Army kettle program, focusing on volunteer recruitment and finding new sites for engagement.
  • Develop a program and resources to build an endowment or endowmentlike reserve for programs, targeting $100 million.
  • Participate in partnershipbuilding projects and other duties as assigned by management and leadership.
  • Ensure yearly fundraising targets are met and reviewed quarterly.

  • Participate & fundraise for Capital Projects
  • Represent TSA and participate in public and private meetings and events.
  • Participate in fundraising projects and undertake any other duties as assigned by the Management and Leadership from time to time where appropriate.
  • Participate in all Fundraising and PR coordination with Singapore District PR
  • Maintain a current comprehensive knowledge of the Salvation Army's programs and ministries.
  • Build strong works relationships with Program Directors and Officers in TSA.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree with 5 to 8 years' experience in sales, fundraising, volunteer management or at least 8 years of voluntary experience,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Sound knowledge of the social service sector,
  • Keen interest in nonprofit work and community building,
  • Strong in networking, marketing and able to communicate persuasively through presentations,
  • Team player with a positive and collaborative spirit that strives for success of the team.
