Team Coordinator (General Surgery - Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Service)

JOB SUMMARY
To help coordinate care for patients of the team.

He/She will help coordinate training activities and events, maintain registries and databases, facilitate weekly meetings, and coordinate and manage research for the team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient care coordination and communication on appointment arrangement, pre and post operative counselling, surgery date changes, etc.
Organise and facilitate weekly meetings: morbidity and mortality meeting, journal club teaching etc.
Maintain accurate data for specialty related databases.
Track specialty workload for clinical and training programmes.
Coordinate and manage team's resources and ensure its optimal utilization.
Participate in research projects for the team including consent taking and database entry etc.
Assist in coordinating programmes and training in the team and department, including public forums, GP forums and medical examinations such as MBBS and FRCS.
