Job Title: Kitchen Team Member

Join our dynamic kitchen team as a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to our discerning customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food items according to recipes and the instructions of the head chef or sous chef.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation protocols in the kitchen, including proper handling and storage of food, cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work surfaces, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in inventory management, including counting and storing food items, and ordering kitchen supplies.
  • Monitor, cook and present assigned dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Plate and garnish dishes according to established presentation guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauce, pastry, grill).
  • Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely and efficient food production.
  • Stock and replenish ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Ensure that all food items meet the restaurant's quality standards.
  • Monitor and report any issues or inconsistencies to senior chefs.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new dishes and refine existing recipes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a western kitchen.
  • Good English communication skills.
