    Description

    Job Purpose

    The Senior Operations Specialist supports the CCL Operations Projects Section to manage and run Ops related projects.

    Responsibilities

    a. Assist in drafting and preparing proposals and documents for projects related to Repair and Maintenance (R&M) such as station signage and station improvement works, including but not limited to identifying the nature of work and operational requirements, ascertaining the applicable technical and material specifications, complying with the local regulatory and industrial standards where applicable, and fulfilling the tasks within timeframe.

    b. Oversee project commencement and development till completion, including but not limited to liaising with contractors on progression and clarifications, performing pre-award and post award site survey, supervising installation work, and checking the finished job in accordance with the intended requirements prior to taking over the end products and endorsing the Service Sheet or Certificate of Completion.

    c. Arrange and perform site surveys with requestors to appraise operational requirements prior to preparing proposal or job order. Propose alternative solutions if applicable.

    d. Review and update materials that are related to Railway Incident Management Plan (RIMP) such as station bus service leaflets, pull-down screens, and posters to ensure full compliance with LTA requirements.

    e. Monitor inventory records of tools and equipment. Track the expiry or calibration dates of supplies such as PPE, AED, and N95 masks. Replenish stocks when required to ensure adequate stockpiles are available to meet operational demands.

    f. Prepare and compile monthly Building & Facilities (B&F) reports.

    g. Perform the role of FRT (Fast Response Team) member during train service delay or disruption in CCL.

    h. Undertake any other duties assigned by supervisor(s) when required.

    Qualifications & Work Experience

  • Experience in rail industry related projects is advantageous.

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to multitask while delivering quality work.
  • Ability to perform crowd control duties during train disruptions or events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
