    Roles & Responsibilities

    Summary

    Identify WSH hazards, unsafe work conditions/ practices and recommend reasonably practical control measures at the workplace.

    Job Responsibility

    • Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirement.
    • Ensure daily checklists are properly documented and carry out mass toolbox meeting
    • Coordination with relevant site in-charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
    • Lead safety committee in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations
    • Accountable for investigation, analysing and determining the cause of accidents or negligence, if any during work process.
    • Prepare the Safety Method of Statement (MOS) for company related scope of work
    • Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issue, safe work procedures and update risk register.
    • Ensure and maintain the administrative documents (e.g. PPE, Security Pass Applications, ISO & audit, Risk Assessment, workers' SIC, core trade courses etc.)
    • Ensure all machinery and equipment at plants are in good working conditions.
    • Conduct safety inductions and orientation. For new staff/work team on boarding to site. Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
    • Other related duties, as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    • At least a Diploma, Advanced /Higher /Graduate Diploma /Degree, Engineering in or Equivalent
    • Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes
    • Must possess professional knowledge in law and regulations (WSH Act and Environment).
    • A good team player with good communication skills and multi-tasking.
    • At least 3 years of working experience in the construction/manufacturing industry.
    • Computer literate with MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
