Overview


The Senior Manager, Technology and Activation Group (TAAG) is responsible for working with internal media team, PGD trafficking team and the Data Governance team to execute digital media campaigns as well as to maintain the taxonomy compliance adhere to global benchmark.


This role involves working with digital media ad serving technologies and monitoring the campaign trafficking request through Jira on a daily basis.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee TAAG Operations across APAC & MENA region for Samsung. Work with media team and PGD trafficking team to activate digital campaigns for (display & video) as a start and will be extended to monitor other channels based on the centralization plans.
  • Good understanding about taxonomy and able to take immediate action via connecting with local media team, in case if the PGD team flag any concerns on campaign trafficking sheets.
  • Support PGD associates in the basic aspects of the trafficking process, including connecting placements to creatives, setting up consistent configurations, and taxonomy adherence for collecting the clean data.
  • Manage the conversations with the PGD and media team on ways to work faster and smarter. Collaborate with TAAG associates on process to prevent errors, to ensure consistency, to create an efficient and locktight QA checklist.
  • Collaborate with agency media team and trafficking team when there is troubleshooting required.
  • Weekly connect with trafficking team and media team to identify the challenges/concerns and prepare a work around and the best practices to improve the output and standardize the work.
  • Good understanding of brand safety and verification process and prebid tagging setup for campaigns based on the client needs.
  • Manage campaign activation SLA and ensure deadlines are met across the regions to ensure timely launch.
  • Manage Ad server admin controls (like granting access to users, creating advertiser names, conduct a quarterly hygiene process to clean the user profiles) etc.
  • Deep understanding on CM360 end to end trafficking process to generate the ad tags/trackers in case of any emergency request from client or media teams.
  • Good understanding of Jira ticketing system, monitor the daily trafficking queue volume and connect with HUB lead to ensure there is enough PGD resource available to support the trafficking requests. Also ensure all the tickets are assigned to traffickers and delivered the tags/trackers within the SLA.
  • Work with local media team and ensure they are following the taxonomy framework toolset and the compliance is adhere to benchmark. Work with Zone lead and prepare the work strategy to improve the taxonomy scores for each markets under SEAO & MENA.

Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 67 years of experience in digital media (agency side)
  • Ability to navigate and explain complex technical problems related to data and web technologies
  • Able to escalate the issue to senior managers whenever required
  • Experience with digital platforms: Campaign Manager360 (CM360), Sizmek, Flashtalking etc for (display, video, social, mobile) trafficking, META Business Manager, TikTok, LinkedIn etc and VVF vendors like Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, MOAT etc for (viewability, verification, and fraud prevention) tracking
  • Knowledge of programmatic (DMPs, DSPs, Exchanges) and Google Ads
  • Search/GDN is an added advantage
  • Skills in QA'ing ad tags and conversion tags in a browser environment or tag diagnostic tools
  • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skill with ability to communicate/translate complex concepts to nontechnical audience
  • In depth, experience in various marketing technology solutions, including ad servers, DCO, rich media providers, ad verification etc
  • Results oriented with strong independent and time management skills
  • Experienced proficiency with Microsoft office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in managing ticketing system (like Jira)
  • Experience in handling the work for huge volume of trafficking request with tight SLA
  • Experience in preparing the operational PowerPoint deck for onboarding new work strategy plans
