    Description

    Wonderlit is seeking a creative and talented individual with a strong foundation in English and a flair for designing educational materials to join its journey to inspire, nurture and create a love for the English Language in children.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Research, source, plan and develop high quality curriculum for English curriculum in line with MOE syllabus and Wonderlit's teaching pedagogies and requirements.
    • Plan and prepare weekly lesson plans which include teaching materials and audio-visual aids that aid effective teaching and facilitate active learning.
    • Coordinate review and feedback on the curriculum and update lessons on a continuous basis to meet teaching objectives.
    • Develop and conduct training programmes for teachers implementing the curriculum.
    • Conduct engaging and student-centred classes including reviewing and marking student's writings/ scripts and providing timely feedback to parents.
    • Perform any ad-hoc duties or responsibilities assigned.
    • Be an ambassador for Wonderlit at all times in interacting with parents and other external stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications & Experience

    • At least a Degree in English Language, English Literature, Law, Communications or related field.
    • At least 2 years of work experience in curriculum planning, development, training and teaching English and creative writing in an enrichment industry in Singapore.
    • Excellent academic track record in English Language, English Literature and General Paper (GP).
    • Strong work ethic, collaborative, creative, meticulous and an eye for detail.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiarity with other software (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus.
    • Energetic, dedicated and enjoys working with and developing young children.
    • Willing to work 3 weekdays and both weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
