Description
You will assist the Manager or Assistant Manager, Housekeeping in overseeing the daily housekeeping operations in our Serviced Residence.

This includes creating a sense of home away from home for our residence and ensuring the cleanliness of our residents' homes, public area and linen are in accordance with our established procedures and guidelines.

You will report directly to the Manager or Assistant Manager, Housekeeping.


Responsibilities

You will:

  • Assist to review standards according to operating procedures and provide support in preparing operational reports to the Management
  • Promote teamwork and quality service within the team and coordination with the other departments
  • Manage room attendants, linen attendants and contractors during daily operations
  • Organise and provide onjobtraining programmes for employees and train new room attendants
  • Inspect apartments and public areas for maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring each section maintains an excellent standard of resident satisfaction
  • Ensure a smooth checkin and checkout process for all residents
  • Report any damage and maintenance defects to the Engineering Department
  • Attend to all residents' queries and needs, especially those of VIP residents
  • Schedule and conduct periodical cleaning programmes
  • Perform monthly stocktaking of all linens, uniforms, equipment, supplies and items
  • Perform daily checks to ensure no linen or equipment abuse
  • Assume cleaning responsibilities when required
  • Perform related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

You have:

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Attendant, Housekeeping
  • At least a higher secondary education is preferred
  • Knowledge in conversational English to communicate with multilingual residents
  • Knowledge in basic conversational Mandarin is an added advantage
  • Supervisory skills
  • Passion for coaching and guiding
  • Willingness to perform shifts
