Principal Engineering Specialist - Singapore - GOODRICH AEROSPACE PTE LTD

Collins Innovation Hub is looking for a Connected Factory Digital Engineering Specialist. This is a critical role for the future of our business that will catalyze business transformation.To build out and scale capabilities across Collins, the role is currently composed of:
- Digital Engineering
- Connected Operations
- Manufacturing Execution Systems
- Cybersecurity
You will engage, collaborate, and build relationships with leaders across Collins Aerospace and RTX to align teams to a common technical direction to meet the vision, mission, and roadmap.
This will require you to recommend, identify and work closely with the team to develop use-cases, manage key requirements with the product teams, and dependent product teams to shape the product roadmap.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical Leadership to drive digital solutions across Collins Aerospace to ensure solutions and proof of concepts are connected throughout Collins Aerospace network.
- Identify roadblocks and define connectivity solutions for Digital, Automation, and Additive
- Work with program leadership to support integration of roadmaps.
- Explore, define, and support the implementation enablers. Ensure an understanding and associated documentation around why enablers are needed to achieve outcome.
- Technical understanding of both aerospace systems / products and the allocation of Digital Technology.
- Where required, coordinate technical alignment and influence priority.
- Drive from key business requirements, to key technical requirements the delivery of capabilities and ultimately to achieving outcomes / value.
- Support the teams in program execution.
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 4 years prior relevant experience
or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of experience
or in absence of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience. - Operated as a Technical Lead (e.g., Engineer, Architect, etc.) within a Program accountable for delivering solutions that meet requirements.
- Extensive experience in a Technical Aerospace business role (e.g., Engineering, etc.) demonstrates extensive industry knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data acquisition and data transmission techniques, airline operations (including maintenance, repair, and overhaul).
- Technology visionary and advocate.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence business partners / leaders, peer technical leaders and create alignment.
- Experience developing highly successful technology products.
- Leading and developing a team owning initiatives.
- Experience with product / feature ownership and driving / aligning a product strategy / roadmap.
- Experience in developing predictive analytics, data science, or systems integration products.
- Budgeting and procurement experience.
