Job Description:

Our fantastic Pastry team plays a crucial (and delicious) role in producing our variety of
desserts, which are baked fresh daily and served in all our outlets:

Desserts such as cakes, cookies, entremets, etc.

You will...

  • Come to understand the varieties of product offerings
  • Learn the preparation and baking techniques behind our delicious cakes and desserts, from using the best ingredients available, to the various mixing methods, measurements, and accurate blending of ingredients
  • Understand the proper use of mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment used in production
  • Learn to appreciate the importance of using the correct cookware and bakeware, so as to achieve the right temperature during the baking process
  • Pick up priceless skills and knowledge in being able to accurately identify the different types, characteries, functions, and quality indicators of each baking ingredients
  • Appreciate the importance of always maintaining food safety standards; from quality checks and control to the proper handling and storing of ingredients, as well as ensuring all equipment are sanitized and ready for use
  • Be exposed to even more skilldevelopment opportunities from other adhoc assigned by the Head Pastry Chef

Job Requirements

  • Commitment of at least 3 to 6 months
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate registered with Singapore Food Agency (SFA)
  • If you do not have one, the Company will arrange the training and certification
  • Able to work under pressure in a fastpaced, yet fun environment
  • Great communication skills with positive, interpersonal skills
  • A team player with a good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for details
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Honest willingness to learn and grow with the Company
