This advertisement is for the recruiting position of Teacher Aide.

If successfully selected, you will be seconded to a MOE Primary School located in Chua Chu Kang.

Contract Period:
From 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025

Option to Extend:
From 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5:00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
Fridays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break
Services not required on Saturdays, Sunday and gazette public holidays.

The Services required are set out as follows:

Collaborate with external partners and manage after-school programmes where he/she will assist in the attendance and overall discipline of the group of students,
Assist Assistant Year Head (AYH) in charge with designing customised daily afterschool programmes with prospective partners for segmented groups of high needs (HN) students to motivate and engage them to attend school,
Keep close monitoring on specific information of individual HN students during and after school,
Assist in the organising Learning Journey of HN students with AYH in charge; and
Provide support to administrative operations and carry out any other tasks/duties assigned by Administration Manager & School Leaders.

The Personnel shall mínimally have the following qualifications, experience and skills:

At least GCE 'O' Level or the equivalent
At least 2 years working experience in primary schools as educator or teaching support staff
Able to monitor and manage students in completing their tasks on hand
Has good communication skills and can work well with students
Must be strong in administrative tasks like keeping records and filing
